Performance characteristics of proximity sensors
source: time:2018-05-11 Click:1131
Among all kinds of sensors, there is a kind of displacement sensor which has the ability to "perceive" the object close to it. Using the sensitivity that the displacement sensor reacts to the approaching object to achieve the purpose of controlling the on-off of the sensor thus is called proximity sensor.
Only when an object moves towards the proximity sensor and approaches a certain distance can the displacement sensor have a "perception" and can the sensor work. Usually, this distance is called as the "testing distance." But testing distances of different proximity sensors also vary.
Sometimes the tested object moves one by one to the proximity sensor at a certain interval of time, and leaves one by one repeatedly. To different proximity sensors, their ability to respond to the tested object is different. And this response characteristic is called "response frequency".
